This may be trivial, but I just figured out that you can flip a 1575 backwards!

Yup- without fear of damaging the movment. It’s the saving grace for that movement or I would have dumped my OPD long ago. Doing a full slow set where you have to go all the way around at 5am trying to get out the door…no thanks.

I did not even know this was a thing till a week or so ago(non-quickset).
My grandma had her late brothers day/date on the other day and I pointed out that it was incorrect.
She told me it is so hard to set so she does not bother.
I told her "No way, le t me see it.............
    ...........
    ...........
    Yeah I don't know". Lol.

My Hamilton is the only day/date I have ever used and I just assumed that pulling out the crown to different positions was the standard for everything.
My grandpa (her husband) has a newer day/date that has quickset though. So she taught me something hah.

Day/date non-quickset- deal breaker! My fingers can’t take that kind of abuse
