    Hey,

over the past weeks I am noticing the "ticking" of my Omega Seamaster 600 more often. Not quite sure, if it gets louder or i am starting to pay more attention to it now. I only have a new ETA-Movement-Watch for comparison, so i am wondering what is normal for these watches of that age. It's accuracy is still amazing and imo the movement should be in a good condition. Holding it nearby my ear, i can hear two different sounds. The movement of the seconds and clearly another hammering sound with about half of the speed. In quiet surroundings I guess it's loud enough to hear from around 3 meters or even more.
Should I get it checked or does that sound normal to you?
    Thank you!

Just buy another one and compare. Your joy will be double.

There's no point in comparing it with a different watch unless it's the same model or, at minimum, has the same movement. Take it to an honest watchmaker and s/he will be able to put your mind at ease and it shouldn't cost you anything (unless s/he uncovers something that requires repair).
