·This is one of the coolest watches I’ve ever owned. To Omega it’s Ref. 212.30.41.20.01.001. To Omega collectors, it’s The James Bond Collector’s Piece.
To me it’s fondly referred to merely as 007 . . .
It’s #1821 of a limited edition of 10, 007 produced around the time of Quantum of Solace, but it is not tied directly to that specific film.
The watch itself is a 38mm Omega Seamaster diver in all steel on the 1514/825 Bond-style bracelet with 007 clasp.
Unique to this watch are the 007 motif on the case-back, along with the LE number, and the red 007-tipped sweep-seconds hand. Some of the Bond special editions scream at you, while this one whispers like Vesper Lynn or Honeychile Rider . . .
The condition of the watch is excellent-plus; the Omega Calibre 2500 Co-Axial movement has just received a full service by noted Omega specialist Al Jensky in St. Thomas, Ontario. The bezel insert, case, dial, bracelet and crystal are all excellent or mint. When the watch came to me the bracelet was too tight, so I added a couple of full links.
Included with the watch are the inner box, outer box, card holder, all four cards (as there is one for the Limited Edition), the Omega 1/11 <i>Operating Instructions</i> booklet, Omega Limited Edition certificate, and the DVD record & pressure test receipt of the service.
If you always wanted a collectible watch that you could wear, this is the one . . .
$3699 plus actual carriage.
