If the warranty transfers from owner to owner, there's no reason to have a name on the card.

Reason no... But I believe the AD name comes already stamped into the card like Rolex. (Can't remember if they were like that before). And you're right, if warranty carries over name wouldn't matter. But Im not sure of he filled out the new card purchase for me today to mail into Omega for the "gift".

most importantly, what where you doing there? what did you buy? where are the pictures?

less importantly, I guess if someone manages to steal the whole set from you now they get a warranty with it.

No, I would not steal from you.

So another try at the moonwatch. I'm thinking about it too. missing one a bit, but feel I should get a vintage transitional (67-68) but now that explorer 1 is taking a lot of my attention.

The explorer is nice. I was thinking of a vintage too, but want to make it a no brainier daily wear watch so went with a new one for the new bracelet and no worry seals.

Do you have a buyer for it yet or are you going to wait to flip it until you take it out of the box?

(since we're on obnoxious comments I thought I could dig a little too) :p

Hey I know my buying habits are ridiculous... I'm the first A-hole to admit that!
But yeah not a bad idea. Anyone interested in a still in the box Speedy let me know, lol.

    Yes, on accident though... Kinda.
Thats why I grabbed the Moonwatch. And two deals backed out by shakey buyers at pay time so far for the 57.
@Nobel Prize , I'm actually really really loving my Milgauss. Not sure I want an explorer.
