    I hope sourcing a crystal won't be too hard. On a happier note, got this one a couple of days ago and just sent it out to be restored. :)

    On the first watch, shouldn't be a problem for watchmaker to fit a new glass crystal. It happens.

    On the second one, at least it's "Certified", not "Certifed". Very nice purchase!

    The very same happened to my '40 Ω tank [R17.8] while at the watchmaker's. He'd had it for a while, finally finished it (balance staff replacement), and then the crystal cracked before he could deliver it.

    I'll post before and after images if he saves the fractured original.

    Is that SM300 the one that was sold in a pair with some seiko or something on ebay?

    I love the band, very Robinson Crusoe. Almost a shame to get it restored.
