Opened up my watchroll to find this I hope sourcing a crystal won't be too hard. On a happier note, got this one a couple of days ago and just sent it out to be restored.
On the first watch, shouldn't be a problem for watchmaker to fit a new glass crystal. It happens. On the second one, at least it's "Certified", not "Certifed". Very nice purchase! gatorcpa
The very same happened to my '40 Ω tank [R17.8] while at the watchmaker's. He'd had it for a while, finally finished it (balance staff replacement), and then the crystal cracked before he could deliver it. I'll post before and after images if he saves the fractured original. Art
