Nivada Grenchen Chronoking Diver with Valjoux 72 in excellent condition. Case measures 43mm by a whopping 18mm thick, and appears to retain its original factory polish with no dents, dings or deep scratches. There is one spot that looks like paint where the case rubbed up against something, I have not tried to polish it off. There is a scratch and wear on the caseback. The dial is in excellent condition with lume degradation on the markers and hands as pictured. The bakelite bezel is in near perfect condition and has nice tight clicks. The movement is running strong, winds like butter, and all counters reset to zero. The original mineral glass crystal with painted tachy bezel has a couple of scratches and pinhead size nick between the 3 and 6 o'clock counters as pictured, but is in excellent condition otherwise. The crown is unsigned. Overall, this is an excellent example of a rare reference. Asking $3000 OBRO Net Shipped via Registered Mail in the CONUS. Great looking watch. Any chance for a movement shot.......or at least a few comments regarding its condition? Thanks.
I will work on a movement shot. I tried opening it, but it was pretty tight, and I did not want another "idiot mark" as is present from a previous owner. I am going to see my watchmaker soon, so will try to get him to crack it open. It functions flawlessly, winds smoothly, has a strong power reserve, and keeps accurate time.
