Nickname for the Planet Oceans?

So I'm wondering, the watch community loves to attach nicknames to certain models. The Seamaster blue wave dial is the "Bond", 2254 is the Peter Blake (and recently saw it was referred to as the "Ray Donovan" aswell) as an example. Do any of the Planet Ocean models have any? I recently grabbed a grail watch (PO 2201) and it got me thinking.

I always like to vote "orca".
Good Planet and POLMLE are known as "Good Planet" and "POLMLE" respectively 😉
First generation = "White writing"
Er... that's it...

I think it has a cool enough name to not need a nickname. I’m sure one of the specific models that Michael Phelps wears could be named after him.

Also, I do believe that the blue ceramic model is referred to as “ big blue”. But that’s a name given by Omega so probably doesn’t count.

Only nickname to me that sticks is the Oreo or cookies and cream for the black and white GMT.

First Gen had 2 sizes and white writing and Orange writing...

Outside of the POLMLE.... 2500, 8500 etc, 1st gen, 2nd gen, then who cares 😉

Proposed

Das Thick Boi - 2nd gen POC
Foosballer - 1st Gen 3313 POC Orange
Grail - 2500 42mm white printing AKA I should have already bought one.
Goldilocks - 39.5mm
I wish I was a really good baller - Platinum Orange aka STP? (Sexier than Platona?)

I just call it “Planet Ocean”

Yes, please let's not get into this nonsense any more than we already have. Let that be primarily a a Rolex thing, so I don't have to pay attention...

Due to the diameter to thickness ratio of mine, I call it the 'silo'

^^^this, plus Deep Black and Big Blue are easy to remember and impossible to be confused with other models. I like it that (simple) way.

I sometimes call my 2209.50 as "Pumpkin" tho not sure does it have a power to be a global trend 😁

The Snoopy is called the Snoopy for a good reason.
Lets leave the Omega nicknames at that please.

seconded. I can't take serious any person over 15 who addresses his watch bluesy, hulk or whatever silly name he invented.

How about 'A way to sell the SMP at much higher price point' or 'AWTSTSMPAAMHPP'

Pronounced 'Aww-tuss-tuss-Umm-Pah-mup' It trips off the tongue, don't you think?

I detest the "watch community" nicknaming watches, because who do you think you are confusing me with your nonsense?! Use proper nomenclature and model numbers!

I also really detest the abbreviations. Is your SMP a Speedmaster Professional? A Seamaster Professional? And then some of you add a few extra lower-case letters as if that makes it better!

Only poseurs use those stupid abbreviations because you think it makes you one of the cool kids.

Hah! Only your haircut and record collection can do that! (No, not your car. Anyone can buy a car. None of you race them anyways [except you, you know who you are]).
