Cool that a Hacko is being auctioned off. He had a channel these days. Not bad. I don’t know enough about him to have an opinion but cool that us Aussies represent.

I don’t know enough about him

He's very polarising, and as my Dad used to say, "Doesn't suffer fools gladly".

Many years ago now I started my watchmaking hobby based on his on-line tutoring.
Have purchased a number of items from him (tools, watches) and been helped out by him with a vintage pocket watch issue nobody else was interested in.

For one of his Aussie made watches to make it all the way to an auction in the company of some of the most highly regarded watchmakers in the world is a feather in his cap.
Again, a saying I remember from my Dad.

He seems knowledgeable on his channel. No doubt he has skill in what he does.

Yeah definitely to have one of his watch’s up for audition there is a feather in his cap. Even just for exposure to a wider market.
