Nice a386 on ebay germany their is a good chance the end price will be well below market price as the seller does not offer paypal, international shipping, and no movement and case back pictures. Sorry but I do not know how to link the ebay listing to this page

Yes, good looking watch. Too bad the seller doesn't like money. Makes you wonder...

I would say anything under $6k would be a good price, if it's as good as it looks.

I really like the different colour subdials and their layout -just touching each other. Is that standard for all el primeros?

No... some overlap, like the A386 (the A781-2-3, for example), and some do not (e.g. the G381-2-3).

Zenith has taken some flak on recent vintage-inspired models from EP aficionados for letting the hour subdial cover portions of the other two more useful subdials, as opposed to the old scheme of bringing the seconds and minutes subdials to the front.

When I first started collecting I had no interest in these styles, in fact in any chronograph or sport watches, but seeig some of these, well, definitely makes me rethink!

I just paid GBP for an ordinal ladder bracelet, so worth taking this into account when bidding....
Will it ship with the bracelet?

Well, we have a new record price for an A 386! It was sold with correct bracelet, but no movement shot on Ebay.de. Germany-only, no-Paypal sale at EUR5728 / USD7436. This bests the one with the modern replacement dial sold by Antiquorum in Hong Kong for what was then equivalent to USD7000.

Much as I am happy to see the Antiquorum abomination dethroned (for many reasons), I don't find this one exceptional. It's correct, but not unpolished, pristine or anything like that - just a decent A 386. The lack of a movement shot is a serious point against, yet it still made the price.

Yep too much for me in the end due to lack of pay pay protection and the difficulty trying to communicate with the seller

I see the seller has received positive feedback for the sale of the a386 on ebay so I guess ebay will get their few hundered for the sale of the watch. I also notice that in the ebay listing the watch was located in Germany, the plot thickens. I see that the a386 on the kijiji site is located in Bad Ragaz Switzerland, Hmmmm something fishy I would not like to be the one waiting for the post man for the kijiji a386 , in the words of a famous rabbit AAAAAAA WHATS UP DOC.

Thank you gigi, nice to see that beautiful a386 went to italy. It is just as I thought some creep has stolen the listing for the a386 that sold on ebay and put it up on the kijiji site, I wounder how often has he got away with this. Well spotted andy-s.
