Longines in-house chronographs (30CH, 13ZN) bring big bucks. That's an original dial too which is VERY rare. Still, that's a bit high for a stainless version. I could see $10K or a little more.

For a 13zn-12 the price is perhaps 'reasonable'; but I'm not sold on this one's authenticity.

Maybe you can elaborate?

Apologies; a quick sentence is perhaps neither an appropriate 1st post, nor a proper way to question the authenticity of this listing. The 13zn-12's that I have seen (admittedly not many) have had reference 23086 and 23297. In Goldberger, the watch with the reference of the same example- 22183- is indeed a 13zn, but not one with central minute recorder.

Goldberger not only has several redials in his books, he also doesn't have a complete case reference library. I have his book on Longines that shows a few chronographs and military watches and by no means does it cover all the references that were made.

It was not my intention to offer Goldberger as a compendium of all Longines' reference numbers ( the military watch ref. 20828 now on my wrist I believe absent from its beautiful pages). I meant only to suggest that the examples I have seen of a very desirable watch do not have this reference number.
