On thursday night SVT was airing Antiques Road show (Antikrundan) There was an elderly lady with her late fiancées ´67 Speedmaster to learn more about the watch and get an estimated value. The watch has been tucked away for nine years and has very little wear to it. It seems to be a 145.012 (serial 24951329) with original bracelet 1039, stamped 2 6 7. Original box but no papers unfortunately. She got the watch valued to 120.000 SEK (approx 11500 EUR). I'd say it's reasonable given the condition and it's most likely being a one owner watch. The show is available on SVTPLAY, although stating "only available in Sweden" Another spacerelated item was on the show. A Nice pin given to a schoolgirl in 1964 by Gagarin. He was visiting the school and telling about his work.
Those pushers are short/fat like a 105.012...the SN could be from a 145.012 or 105.012-66 ... Edit : But if they opened it up then i guess they know the reference...
Replacement 105.012 pushers at that, so whoever they had service the watch either did not know the proper parts or didn't have access to them. Definitely not worth 11k+ EUR but cool to see nonetheless!
If it is a 105.012-66 it seems to have replacement pushers. But otherwise it looks very good, pristine bezel, sharp case, intact lume on the dial, good bracelet (maybe one fixed link missing), clean movement, so I think 11k would be spot-on. If it's a 145.012 maybe worth a bit less, according to spacefruit's chart.
It may be the picture, but don't the pusher tubes look a bit on the thin side for a 105.012. Also there seems to be a lot more than 24 teeth on that crown??? Screw heads look very tidy on the 321 movement. (Just thinking aloud chaps)
Even though it seems to be serviced with new pushers and crown it is a very attractive looking one! Looks barely worn. If it's a 145.012 - I agree, the valuation is too high...
