A beautiful Omega Seamaster Cal. 267

Update: Movement and caseback pictures now added. It is in fact a cal. 267.

The dial is in excellent Original condition,

Large 36mm Stainless Steel snapback case and gold arrow markers with large sub-dial seconds and numerals at 12,3,6 & 9 make for a very lovely combination.

These don't come around very often in this kind of condition.

Regret to sell this one but I need funds
to cover a recent purchase...

I am asking SOLD ono

What's the case reference number on this one? It looks like a 2937 but the one I have has a different caseback design.

Yes. It's a 2937. Finally got movement pics. It's like the Ranchero case.

That's interesting. The 2937 caseback that I have has the seahorse emblem in it and this one looks like it was stamped like the 2990 ranchero caseback. These seamasters with this case reference if memory serves was only sold for 1 year so perhaps it was a transition model. Nevertheless, this is watch is a good one to have with the clean black dial.

Really? I thought the case was similar to the Ranchero I have. And the one you had for sale. If it doesn't go soon I think It might end up back in the safe! 😀

That's what I mean - a transition model to the ranchero case style (which also was used for the seamaster line). The earlier versions had the same case reference number but had the seahorse at the back and the later ones were stamped like the ranchero cases to come. The one I have has the ranchero "broad arrow" hands and the caseback that said seamaster, waterproof, and had the seahorse emblem like the speedmaster, railmaster and seamaster 300 models did in the center. To be honest, the caseback design was one of the reasons I added the watch to the collection.

I'd like to see some more of these 'transition' models..I may start a new thread.

Yes, that would be interesting. There were a few of these transition models in omega's long history.
