I wear mine on a 1171 as well, the 1039 is not a durable bracelet and not as comfortable, mine rests in the watch drawer.

 

Depending on when your '68 was born, you may what to consider a 1039 (69).

I was not able to get an extract for mine from the museum, 27.324.xxx, mine is on a '68 1039.

 

Thanks for the input, mine is a 26.556.xxx, so I guess a '68 would match. However, I have time during hunting so I will get an extract
