Just because I am really happy [emoji322] [emoji323] First pic of my new Transitional - Cleaning and homecoming will be done in the weekend (feedback in any direction appreciated):
Congrats, it looks very cool & wereabe ! I'd love a transitional myself. Don't tell it to my girlfriend though.
Looks like a great pickup from the one photo above. Just about the perfect Speedy in my opinion, vintage look and more modern movement for service. Thanks for sharing.
Is that the oyster style Omega bracelet? Is it a 1450? How do you like it compared to an 1175 or 1039?
Thanks a lot [emoji2] It came with the NATO and an 1171, but in the original Box [emoji322] I am gonna look for a 1039 to keep it original, but will for now put it on leather.
I do wear a kilt on occasion, namely Robby Burns Day, St.Paddy's day and maybe a few other occasions, but not today... just an untucked shirt. @sky21, it's an 1168 notably found on the 1975 Soyuz, and on some seamasters apparently. It's a very comfortable bracelet, though in general, I still prefer the old school flat link bracelets.
I'm not a fan of the forest growing under your watch but the bracelet (I think I can see some of it) looks great. OP asked about the watch, not the strap it just arrived with.
Thanks @gemini4, but @oddboy is right. And I just missed @flame s 1039 3/68 for Just 1 hour... [emoji20]
@gemini4 Thanks for the pic with bracelets. but I think mine is a newer service bracelet. In near mint condition but not matching I am afraid.
