This is why I've put a couple of watches up for sale: http://omegaforums.net/threads/solid-gold-r17-8-omega.3838/ http://omegaforums.net/threads/black-bumper-date-at-6-trapazoid-window.4513/ Anyone care to take a guess what is in the box..... Yes, I've left the 'address' visible. But that is the local post office's address, not mine. So that's OK.
Well you killed the game for everyone else, didn't you! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300877758273?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Sweet watch...congrats! I have a similar PG one with the subdial. The teardrop lugs look really nice on the wrist.
well done ! was watching that one as well; was too small for me. portugal is a brilliant place for vintage omegas. in portugal omega was the state of the art company. was a rich country too. colonies and stuff.... think IWC Portugueser as a special order to IWC. like this example, i love dearly :::::::: kind regards. achim
OMEGA Solid Gold 18k c.1945 Doyou know what the Omega case number is on this watch? I have a 14k Automatic with the same case and it's driven me nuts trying to figure it out!
That gold looks awful rosey (sp) to me! Can you imagine the stories these vintage watches could tell? It's enjoyable witnessing your excitement. Congratulations, Daniel!
Lovely watch. Is the dial solid gold as well? Description says gold dial but is that just the colour? I've seen one like this before but the 8 and 4 were the opposite way up so they radiated out from the centre and were upside down, is either one correct.
Congrats......congrats.........nice find..........with the weak Euro and strong AUD it should be a bargain for you.........
