So the next Bond film, currently called Spectre, is due 06 Nov 15. Any predictions on which Omega will be featured? Below is a pic from a photo shoot a couple days ago. I believe Daniel Craig is sporting an old SM300. Can someone who knows what they're talking about please confirm?
Maybe the next one will be a seamaster 300 master coaxial? In the pic he is wearing something like a 9150 or 2254.50 I like the line markers instead of the dots. More elegant.
From the even colour of the lume on the dial and hands, I would say it is a new dial and hands, IMO, which makes it very much comparable to the "WatchCo" SM300. Else they have a perfectly preserved example. Hard to tell, wish we had the photo in higher resolution. Perhaps he is a WatchCo ambassador is well
Saturday the boutique manager in HH mentioned that there is a rumour of having two watches again. A PO and AT. That would be boring but I would like to see the new SM 300!
If that's true it would be interesting the move away from the sm pro 300. Love the AT as a bond watch, specially if they go back to skiing scenes, AT is closest to an Explorer in that sense. but then you need more contrast than a PO. How about a real Original move and use a chronograph of some kind?
I'd laugh if they went back to Rolex... It'd throw us all off kilter But seriously though, what's/or is there anything stopping the movie franchise from making a switch?
I can see Roger Moore with a Rolex. Not a serious Bond though. Guess I'm biased but they're just too blingy.
Just realised the pic I posted makes it appear to others near our computers that we're all really interested in Daniel's crotch. My bad. I'll crop next time.
Well, a classic submariner or explorer is not more bling than an SMP 300. If anything less is you consider the current smp model with he white gold markers the glossy creme finish etc. Now,If Bond was wearing a platinum Daytona.... That would be blingy
Aston Martin threw down the gauntlet with the DB10 so Omega had better get their skates on to avoid being blitzed in the brand placement stakes.
