Some of you wanted to see more of this one, so here's a smattering of photos provided for your viewing pleasure (solely)(validation not requested :D).
I mostly played with my I Phone and a couple of loupes-- so I'm still using some of the sellers pics (marked).

    Huh!

Complete rubbish, probably a redial, wrong movement, hands from an Invicta.

You're lucky I'm not @meganfox17 as she would have found some sort of a unique punishment for this one ! :D

Oops - thanks and duly noted -- but you should note there have been a couple already (and a relatively impressive offer).

I can imagine you sitting on your rocking chair on the patio of your seaside villa, gazing out across Bassin D'Arcachon, and remembering moments from the beginning of this century, and the many times you uncovered treasures, only to pass them on.

And then one summer evening as the sunset casts fiery clouds over Cap Ferret, you look down to your wrist and see the colours of sunset reflected in your watch and say to yourself "Ah yes, I didn't let this one go."

Yeah, bassin d'Arcachon doesn't sound too shabby - but my closet is already getting cluttered.
I might have to let go of one of my Seikos to make room.... How'bout this one?

Lovely! Congratulations. And what have we here? Why, it's an old Longines advert.

And what model is that, second from the left on the bottom row? Hmmm...it looks familiar, but I can't quite place it.

Oh, and whatever you do, please don't tell anyone at Hodinkee that these were "military" watches! :D

Gee, now I know why I liked those Longines -- they're military watches !! (great ads Tony C., thanks for sharing them!).
