Yes, runs like it was sold brand new yesterday. Very smooth winding, it just has that "feel" of having tight tolerances. It's my first military issued watch. Unfortunately, it's very small, even for that time, 32mm. I wear all my watches, may have to send it on to make room for another.

LOL, I have the same question every time I see posts like this...I have been through so many goodwill stores while travelling for work, never seen anything valuable....
I guess people have a really good luck.

Mine says hello! the 10BNCH caliber (most likely)USAF navigator's watch you found is a very accurate and tough little piece, they're not worth big money but they're still a pleasure to have.

yours would likely be from the be from the late 50s

look up the Mil-Std number on the web for a ton of info on these.

    nice find!

Hi guys, thanks for the kind compliments. Just thought I'd give an update about this watch. I've decided to sell it to help fund new acquisitions, mainly because I wear all my watches and this one is a tad too small for me. Beautiful watch though. If anyone is interested I threw it up on Ebay with no reserve at 99 cents. Thanks again all.
