Here is a wrist shot of my Omega Seamaster Ref. 1470 produced in the 60's . Love the hands and hour markers. Being cleaned & serviced right now, looking forward to the finished product. Any other owners? Does anyone have additional Ref. or special additions to make about the piece? Very happy to have it as an everyday watch. Looking forward to littering my IG with it. Criticism and corrections welcome!

    Happy Holiday,

    Thomas

I like it very much. My father gave me a similar one when I was a teenager in1968 which was later stolen from my gym locker.

A very timely post as I'm currently looking at a possible similar purchase and have spent hours viewing lots of dial close ups to compare scripts. Your watch has given me a lot of comfort that the one I'm eying up may well be correct. It's amazing how many small alterations Omega made to Seamaster script .

Best of luck in your search! I've found lots of success by running the piece at question through the forums and getting member opinions.

    Have a Happy Turkey Day,

There's a digit missing in the reference. A 4 maybe?

Otherwise you're good to go. Great example
