hi everyone. I love vintage watches but have mostly been Rolex. I wanted a birthday year watch so bought a 1969 oversize chronostop. It came with archive papers to. It came with generic strap so bought a 22 mm strap but has 17 mm buckle end. Do omega do 17 mm buckles and if not where would be best place to buy original 60s 16 mm buckle as I'm sure it would fit as bit of give on strap?

We would love to see the watch!!

Have you checked eBay for 17mm buckles?

Also 22/18 makes more sense then a 22/16

    Hi
I can not find any 17 mm omega buckles of any description and most of the ones I've seen on eBay look very dodgy. image.jpeg image.jpeg

Out of interest, I think these originally came with a deployant as mine below, which has 22mm lugs like yours but without the rotating bezel. There is a deployant on mesh as an option. Both do come up on eBay occasionally.
