    Good evening!
First post and all that jazz...
Here's my impulse buy for my impending 50th birthday. Was having a nose around Watches of Switzerland in Brighton UK and this really grabbed my eye.
What do you guys think? 20150923_114040.jpg

Thanks very much. It was fully serviced at Omega, came with a new Omega strap and is safely wrapped up until my birthday

Eye catching looking. Because it has an incorrect (franken) bezel.

Thanks. To be honest I know absolutely nothing about Seamaster and joined here for an education, now I know I have a sparkle dial

    Hi Slimshack,

it must be a 50th Birthday thing I bought mine for my 50th as well. Looks great with that strap to match.

Most likely has a cal. 752 inside, so now you know that too.;)

    First rule of the Enforcer:
Thou shall not calleth franken (bezel or other) out loud if not having done proper research. It does not help anyone.

That bezel is correct for the case. It is an English market 9 carat cased cal 752. I have been looking for one for a long time - since I missed one here in Sweden a couple of years ago.

    Nice one.
I was kinda hoping that this watch was made in 1965 but the serial numbers have rubbed off, any guesses at its year of manufacture?

Rubbed off? No serial# on the movement?

My apologies for the haste assumption. Only seen the one without bracelet for UK market before: http://www.ebay.com/itm/252046672895Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network.

So you're not retired from enforcement yet. Seems this one (may be a bit polished) is still available with original 9ct bracelet: http://www.chrono24.com/en/omega/seamaster-automatic-9ct-gold--id3048122.htm.

Many thanks for those two links, is it possible to still get the gold strap do you think?

I don't think the gold bracelet is available new anymore, but you can always buy that watch with the bacelet while it's still there.
