Hi all
Thanks for accepting my request to join. I have a 1970’s dress omega that was my father’s and have just bought a vintage Speedmaster chronograph which I received today. I’d love to know what year it was made so can anybody educate me where I can do this with the serial number?
Attached pic of new watch.
Thanks for any replies

What's the serial, that would tell you when it was made, probably 1990s or early 2000s. They're a great watch the Speedmaster Date, the 7750 based movement is rock solid and very accurate when properly serviced and regulated.

Oh wow, that’s later than I thought as I just looked online and thought I saw it as 1984 ( obviously with untrained eye and lack of experience) So 1984 was when they started making my model I guess?

No they weren’t made that early, mid 1990s was when Omega started making those
