I have this watch which I suspect to be a fake. Can anyone confirm this? The strap is new.

 

No, it's not a fake. What made you suspicious of it?

 

I was concerned as I had not seen any other photos of vintage omegas with the same types of markings (omega written on what I believe is the case screw?). but I'm by no means an expert! thank you for sharing your expertise.

 

Omega used that style of movement marking from the cal. 1010 series until a bit later. Your marking seems to have lost the lower half indicating the calibre number.
