Is the etched Ω logo on the hesalite crystal of a Moonwatch supposed to be randomly oriented?
I noticed it is rotated about 80 degrees clockwise on mine.

Also, the chronograph second hand does not return to the 12 o'clock position precisely, but just a little before. I'm looking at it top-down with my right eye and it appears to be pointing at the left most edge of dial marker. My saphire sandwich does this too but ever so slightly. Is this normal?

These were purchased at an AD a year ago, and recently in May '23 respectively and have seen very little usage.

The symbol is often (usually?) not oriented perfectly on watches from the factory. And very often the chrono hand Is slightly off. Both can be 'corrected', usually it's not worth the effort for most people.

Great, thank you.

Make sure you close your non-dominant eye and line you’re eye up perfectly straight. Small misalignment can just be your sight line. Then you use both eyes and the perspective shifts anyway. Not a big deal.
