Can anyone provide me any information on the Omega Speedmaster 3523.81? This was supposedly a watch only sold in Japan. I have searched all over the internet and cannot find anything about it other than tons of websites selling fake ones. HELP!!!
That reference was a Japan only model, made in about 1000 units total, the movement is an ETA Valjoux 7751 triple date chronograph movement, its used in a lot of other Speedmasters other than that Japan only model, and is commonly known as the Speedmaster Triple-date
Hard to say, I'd put it in the $1500-2000 mark depending on how much you want it, its really no different to this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OMEGA-ME...635875493?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item564b9ea4a5Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Being a limited to 1000 units example doesn't really make it more valuable as there is no specific demand for this model over say a white or silver dial one.
I've seen them sell for $1500 - $2200 pre-owned. The other models of Speedmaster automatics with Valjoux calibers that look like that in the same case are the 3210 / 3211 / 3212 (date at 3), and 3222 (triple date w/ bezel color that matches dial), and 3523 (triple date w/ aluminum bezel).
Thanks to all that replied!! I have seen them on Japanese sites selling for near $4,000 and I was taken aback.
Here's the exact watch at 2200 or nearest offer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-OMEGA-...754073064?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item460656f5e8Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
