Evening, can someone please help. I’ve purchased my first Speedmster 2005 from Japan on eBay and when it arrives I will need some extra links. The problem is I don’t know which links I need and not 100% sure it has the correct braclet? Matt FB57421A-49B7-4C61-9CD9-B97285EBCAD5.png

Which model bracelet does it say on the clasp? Go to Omegas website and find the nearest boutique they can order them for you. Or search eBay with the bracelet model found on the clasp.

Love the avatar  Welcome. Don’t know much about these, but as Foo says...all the info you need should be on the clasp.

There’s the problem, it hasn’t arrived yet and I was hoping to order some links so they would both arrive at the same time.

You can normally find the bracelet reference if you know the model of watch. I can’t tell which date/ reduced/ racing it is from the caseback. Or the Boutique can tell you from the model of your google skills fail you.

From the photos it looks like there’s 850 stamped on the braclet, would that be the model number?

According to this listing it's a 1562 bracelet with 850 endinks.

Awesome, thanks. Typical, seams the most rare of the braclet links....

Do I need to look for 1562 links or will others fit? Matt

Thanks for all the advice, but I’ve cancelled the transaction as by the time I had bought the watch, paid import tax and sorted the bracelet it wouldn't of been worth while.

They did not offer extra links if you asked?

It’s pretty common knowledge that with them you need to be aware of bracelet sizes.

Yeah, thought so. I asked and they said the watches are bought and sold as is.... the wrist size seams small in Japan as I need around 8.5”.

Looks like I’m too late to this party as you already canceled the sale. As a bit of a side note, you may need to buy extra links regardless of where you buy in the future. I haven’t pirchased a watch that could fit 8.5” wrists yet.

Another option is to buy a different bracelet and sell the one off the watch. Also not sure where you’re located but I have yet to pay import duties from elady in the states. Plus right now they have an 11% off coupon off their website prices (which are typically a few percent lower than their Ebay prices). Maybe it would be worth it with the additional percent off.
