    Hello,
This may be a very dumb question, but I was hoping someone could confirm my assumption. Is omega 145.0022 / 345.0022 the same watch as the 3570.50 or is there a difference or slight variation?

Edit: I've been able to confirm the answer is yes, but have another question below to see if this movement is ok. I appreciate everyone's thoughts.

    Thanks!

[IMG] Also, to add, does anyone know what this white "gel looking" substance on the movement is? Is this normal?

    Thanks again!

If you are referring to the substance that is on the upper cam and the hour recorder yoke, someone has been a little too generous with the grease...

It looks somewhat blue to me, and if so that is Moebius 9504, which is what Omega recommends as a grease.

    Cheers, Al

I think the OP is referring to the delryn which looks like it's melting.

Pictures are not good enough for me to comment on the condition of the brake. Try natural lighting using a better camera.

Thank you guys so much! I'm now the proud owner of my first Speedmaster. This is a watch that I've wanted for quite some time.

The Delrin brake has been discussed for example here in the past, just for your information.
