My father is an amateur antique watch collector but not internet savvy so I am assisting him.

We have come across this watch (pics and details listed below) it is an
1954? Omega Railmaster White Face
Swan neck Regulator cal 283
2777-2 SC
Excellent condition

Would anyone know the approximate value ?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to get an idea of value by looking at eBay sold listings. Good photos, including photos of the movement and inside the case back will get you more information.

Wow, thanks for sending the link. This is the story we have been hearing as well but can't find anybody that knows he approximate value. A local German watchmaker has checked it over and was amazed.
