    Hi,

I'm a newbie here as well as about to own my first Omega.

    Question...

Just placed deposit on a Seamaster Aqua-Terra annual calendar 231.13.39.22.02.001. The retailer is having a great discount for £3350 instead of the regular retail at £5350, but since this morning the official retail price has gone up to £5640 on Omega website. A £290 increase overnight!

What do you guys think? Is it too good to be true?

Omega will allow you to pay more if you request it.

Do you mean even better discount?

I was debating about it since seeing it on the retailer website yesterday. It was either a Rolex OP 114300 or Omega Aqua-Terra. But with £2k discount, it's a no-brainer... IMO

I would imagine, since you've placed a deposit already, that your retailer will honor the original agreed upon price. Thus, you've lucked yourself into an even better discount!

I think that's what Omega is increasing- 5.5% across the board over last weekend. Most probably the boutiques are getting rid the old stocks hence massive discount.

Oh the joys of brexit. Boutiques wouldn't discount that much in my experience. I assume you are buying via an AD?

Same goes for most boutiques now. Huge crackdown on the UK, especially from Rolex, which is strange given the much more dire state of the Asian market that remains untouched. Priorities eh?

    They are AD.
Indeed! to my surprise as well and not pre-owned. I do hope it's genuine. They are AD have quite a few outlets in the UK.

At last! Picked it up from the retailer yesterday. Really happy with it but I would prefer the lug to be a bit wider comparing the size and thickness of the watch.
