Just signed up with the group and have found some very valuable information on your site. Thanks for all the great posts.
I have recently decide to purchase a few Omega Pie pan watches, i just purchased this one below and in the near future plan on getting a white gold with date omega constellation pie pan .
I would like your evaluation of this one that i purchased and maybe some recommendations on where to purchase the next watch .
I have looked on the PPP ( Porn Pie Pan ) thread and those watches look amazing !!1
Thanks in advance
Arthur

Welcome down inside our rabbit hole!!

Dial looks very good....case very polished.

Enjoy and wear it often.

Where to buy next? Kinda like asking a fisherman where his favorite hole is located.

You find these where you find these!! You appear to have found a nice one right off the bat.

Good lucky landing your WHITE WHALE

Thanks i appreciate it - W.W

My goal was to buy a newer looking one that i could wear to a formal night out but the dial was always painted or artificial looking,
Ha ha , if it were not for this forum i almost purchased this one .
How much does the value drop with this watch compared with mine , above, ?? i assume the dial is a bad fake !!
How much should you add if it were 14 k gold or 18 K gold on the case ?? how much to add if it has a calendar
Thanks

Passover - Love that airplane in your avatar , watched them takeoff during the 4th July celebration in So Cal, amazing power !!

How much do you think the price will drop because of the fake dial ??? Amazing the difference of the fonts - too bad they can;t make a real nice fake or a omega factory original product .would be nice

Welcome @jim tomas
You have a very nice gold cap pie pan dogleg, congratulations.

The repainted dial isn’t fake as such - just a redial.
To a collector, they say there is 50% of the value in the dial.
As it happens, the case on that one is heavily polished, so there goes the other 50%.

You say you are after a white gold pie pan.
@TexOmega mentions a white whale because white gold constellations are very few and far between - and you will need very ( very) deep pockets to land a decent one ( while fending off half the world’s Connie collectors at the same time)
