Made any NY resolutions you wish to share? I'm vowing to appreciate the simpler things in life, and take time to stop and smell the flowers. Maybe even let the inner child out and build a snowman. I might even take up a new instrument! It could even be interesting to see things from FullyWound's point of view for a change.
My new year's resolution is to not respond to any noob's first post asking for more information/valuation of a watch left to him by his uncle/father/grandfather/step-dad/etc. It will make me a better person and improve the quality of life on OF!
I resolved many years ago not to make NY resolutions. And I'm proud to say that I've managed to keep that one!
Just search @Mad Dog 's posts. It's his second favourite hangout. After DD. actually there are a lot of double Ds at Hooters also!
I was wearing my Hamilton 992B Railway Special which was in my pocket...which I had been wearing at the donut factory earlier in the day.
My new year's resolution is to completely finish, or sell off ALL of my uncompleted project watches some of which have been sitting around since 2011 before buying any new ones no matter how good the deal may seem. Did an inventory over Christmas and there's now over 30 ranging from almost complete but needs one almost impossible to find piece to watches that are JUST that impossible to find piece awaiting the 95% of other parts needed to finish it.
I never believed in New Year's Resolutions. Never made one until this year. This year, I told myself I wouldn't buy a watch until I found the 5513 that called to me. Yeah ... on the 3rd, I bought a Seamaster.
To move some pieces on to greener pastures and wear everything I own. No sense in only wearing on certain occasions, we're here for a good time, not a long time!
To run into Mad Dog on Delta the end of the month(Atlanta and Bonaire), we chest bump and simultaneously reveal double barreled Omega's! Sorry, Dog, no cuff pouches for me.
