    Hey everyone,
I am new to the forum. Just purchased my second Omega, this time for my fathers birthday.
I purchased a Blue SMP Bond 2531.80 in march for myself. Its actually being worked on and serviced at the moment by Archer Watches. "Amazing service !!!"
My father liked it so much that I decided to surprise him this summer with the same watch.
Purchased on the Bay, it came from Japan and is in better condition then described. Absolute Mint!

Amazing price won on auction. After duties, spent $1200 less then the used one I purchased for myself in march and in much better condition.

    Thanks for looking!

You're gonna make one happy Papa! Good job!

note: I just saw this watch in action last night as I watched James Bond in "The World is Not Enough". Does your watch feature the mini-grappling hook and cable winch? [joking of course ;)]

Very solid choice, they're built very solid those and plenty are going strong after 20 years of heavy daily use.

Nice...and on the blue models I love the wave pattern. Enjoy it and go fishing together with your watches of something.

    Good price too.

I've bought quite a few watches from Japan on e-bay and they have all been better than described. In fact the Gemini 4 had never been worn.
I would be interested to know how much you paid for your watch if you got that one for 1200 less.
