The taper is the same as the others, 20mm to 16mm. Because it is not a very drastic taper it can fit a small wrist because a lot of the links are the same width and removable.

Excellent.

On IG, you're asking followers what they think about the finish of the bracelet.
Are there going to be different options as regards to the finish?
I'm not one to go for high polish and I think that a full satin finish would be awesome.

I have already commented the IG post about 1479 I would write here one more time, US1479 should be all satin brushed.

The new 1450 is sold out already! I thought February 1 was the release date. I’m waitlisted, but that’s okay.

I’m looking forward to reading reviews of this bracelet from the lucky folks who snagged the first batch.

If I'm not mistaken, I read that it's delayed and not sold out.

EDIT - Uncle Seiko's IG page says "Delayed". Most likely 6 weeks.

im guessing most of that delay is actually Chinese New Year,

@Uncle Seiko

1. Any word on price yet? Thought about setting up a preorder? I know I’d feel pretty good just paying now and not having to worry about remembering to order later and maybe missing out.
2. Will the opening on the 1450 solid end links be compatible with your 1171 mid link width and/or other bracelets?
3. Are the clasp cover dimensions the same on the flat link/1171 etc?

Nope. An error of some sort with the end links according to @Uncle Seiko IG page.

Anyway, there's quite a lot coming up both from Uncle Seiko and Forstner respectively.
Both have the 1450 coming up.
Then, there's the 1479 from Uncle Seiko.
The GF style bracelet from Forstner.

I might have a missed other styles.

Yes, but if you discover a problem say, a week ago, nothing, and I mean nothing gets done in China until some time after the 20th of Feb so you lose a month just waiting. I’m assuming US manufactures in China?

I bet that’s why the IG post had “1 week delay” and then crossed out to 6 weeks. He thought he could get it fixed before shutdown but didn’t make it.

His instagram said there's a delay due to an issue with the end links.

Hey guys, I just wanted to give you a sneak preview of the bracelet I am releasing at the end of the month. Have a look at the pictures and tell me what you think.

Looks great!

I bought a bracelet from Uncle Seiko for my Seiko Kakume. Its was very good quality but was branded “uncle seiko” on the clasp. I’d possibly even argue that the quality was maybe even better than the original. I wanted everything to look original and didn't have too much trouble getting a date appropriate OEM Seiko replacement clasp on ebay that fit perfectly. It was much easier to just buy a correct clasp than the bracelet itself on ebay.

I have reasons for keeping the non-Seiko stuff in the US at this time that I don't care to share with the general public. I ship worldwide and understand there are delays and additional fees. Compared to what these would go for to pick up an original, it's still a steal. If any of this changes I will make sure to announce it on the forum. 👍
Thanks for your art.
