I recently got bitten by the watch-virus. A few weeks ago my wife found me this nice vintage Omega jumbo (my first Omega).
It's a 2505-23, caliber 265, but when I browse the net, I don't find any pics with the same dial, so I'm hoping that the combined knowledge of this kind community could help me out: is this a redial or is it original?
According to the serial number it's made between 1947 en 1950, it's running fine and is beatifull on the wrist.

    Thanks for your comments,
    Reinout

It looks fine to me. I wouldn't worry too much about not finding the exact same dial. Many models had many dial variants and not all are on the Internet at any one time.

Nice one! There are many dial variations of the 2505. Mine says hello!

She picked this one out without any assistance? What an eye!

Not exactly without assistance - gently guided (staring at the window of a vintage watch dealer)

Very nice, be sure to remind her in 18 months and 6 watches in, that she started it all
