Hi There, Already posted a bit yesterday. Have been following the forum for a while now and decided i want to be more active. I generally like/collect Speedmasters. Mostly moon related and anniversary models. Not in to the real vintage yet. I have about 25 omegas collected over the years. Some pics below. Also from a new "none omega" project. A nice, 6263 that needs some attention
Will need a new bezel. Bracelet/liks, crown and pushers are ok and the right ones. Dial is a stunning sigma dial. But the bezel unfortunately is done for.
Agree. No polishing or what somevwe. Was serviced by Rolex in 2014 and still running well within what i think is acceptable. Just the bezel...... it is really banged up and broken.
Not something super special buttttt before discontinued not a very desired watch. Now that it is out of the actual collection, a more or less sought after piece. I enjoy wearing it every now and then.
Great collection and fabulous 6263. I'm honestly surprised the dial is so pristine given the bezel condition. Great bones to work with! The Tin-Tin Speedy is an interesting one to me as well. I've heard they were originally created as an homage to the Tin-Tin comics, specifically the one where they go to the moon. However, apparently Omega went through much of the process before the Tin-Tin estate gave them a no-go. As such, we lost out on some interesting accessories that could've come with the watch.
Welcome to the forum Lexm. Looks like you are a serious O collector. Hope you can share some more pics of your timepieces from time to time.
Wow! What an impressive collection. It must be nice to open that box and choose a different every single day.
