As i'm new to the forum, I thought i'd start by sharing a few from my collection.
Mostly Omegas, but a few rogue brands as well 😀

If anyone is interested in the history of them, I'm also trying to catalogue them all here.

You have some unusual, but very cool watches!
Ha. I think most people would say 'ugly' rather than 'unusual' - but yes, I have weakness for the odd looking ones. There's also a Flightmaster that's coming back from STS next week and a half restored Ploprof that I've been trying to finish for the last year.

That LIP is such an unusual yet awesome piece, did you hunt that one down or was it more of an impulse buy when you saw it for sale? I'd never have known something like that even existed!

I think I got a bit obsessed by them one weekend when looking at a post about iconic watch designs. Then as it happens there was one on ebay at the same time. I must have had one glass too many because I ended up sending the seller a really cheeky offer - and much to my surprise he came back and met me half way. So it was a semi spontaneous purchase.

But it's since been back to the Lip factory in france who replaced the pushers, hands, strap and crystal for me. It's also off having a full service now, so the cost has somewhat spiralled. But still a great investment. You don't see many come up for sale and they've just started remaking them as a quartz watch.

In fairness I just love the name. "The dark master" has to go down as one of the best watch names ever...
