This is my second Omega. My first was something I found going through my uncle's stuff after he passed away. Where I was living at the time, the only watch shop couldn't fix it. I was a teenager and was immediately fixated on Omega watches. That watch is somewhere at my parents house, next time I'm home to visit I'm going to find it. I haven't laid eyes on it in over 10 years.

On to my new purchase..... I'm currently living in Romania, been here about 2 years from the US. I found this watch on chrono24, being sold by an individual in Romania. Based on what I read on these forums, I believe this to be original (except the band - way too new). The dial has some issues that don't bother me because I think that it hasn't been redialed. I'll leave final judgment on the originality to the experts!

The seller said it was a 1965 that he'd owned for 4 years, no history given to me from before.

I just dropped off the watch at the authorized Omega service center in Bucharest to be serviced. I don't speak enough Romanian to find an individual watch shop, so I thought this to be my safest bet on getting a proper service. They opened it up so that I could get some fresh pictures.

Edit: Forgot to add, I paid €540.

A bit overpriced if you ask me.
I hope the watchmaker can get this screw out without making any further damage.

Price does seem a bit high, but if you really love the watch, that's more important. Mid 1960's seems right based on the 21M serial number. Enjoy!

Good purchase. A capable watchmaker should have no problem removing and replacing. Good luck
