I’ve loved the Planet Ocean Liquidmetal LE since its debut. I couldn’t afford one back then, but I saved it’s image to use as my phone background for years .

This week, I finally purchased the watch, and it arrived at my home yesterday. I found a complete box and papers set. The watch condition looks brand new to me. I’ll be wearing this one a lot, so it will soon be picking up daily life scratches.

    The pics:

I’m off to my OB now to get the bracelet sized.

Congrats! I had a POLMLE for myself and a NIB with stickers one for my son someday, but he preferred the GSOTM so I made a trade with Nima to get an 11 month old GSOTM. My personal POLMLE is at Omega getting it's first service and should be back in a couple of weeks. I love it.

As much as I've always disliked broad arrow hands... this watch is beautiful and would be the one I would go for as well. It's already considered a "classic", and no question it will continue to be well into the future. Well done sir!

The guy I sold to wanted it for himself badly, but I think the IRS wanted his money more than he wanted to keep the watch.

Nice. The proportions and weight on the POLMLE are a bit better than the current day Planet Ocean 8900, which are still nice with a similar ceramic dial and liquid metal bezel. But I really hate the dotted ring going around the bezel on the newer Planet Ocean 8900. It works with your small wrist much better than a new model.

I'm glad they changed the newer bezel, so people would know they are different from the blue Ti Planet Ocean 8500 or the black POLMLE (Kinda like Rolex making sure the oyster bracelet would not fit the steel Pepsi GMT, to visually differentiate them from the white gold version).

Just picked one up about a month ago. You will love it, been loving mine. The relatively thin case, ceramic dial and bezel, liquidmetal bezel numbers.. and the fact that there's only 1948 out there.

Anyone else wondering how many of the 1900 odd PO LM's are held by folks on this board?

What is that strap? Is it Omega or aftermarket?
