New to me PO 42mm SN#8522 C or D movement?

    I won this one last night on the bay.Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
    Full set with bracelet.
    Can any one tell me if this is a C or a D 2500?

    It was my understanding that if the number "1" on the date dial has a little flag it is the D version. This is opposed to a straight line l. Could be wrong. Mine is a great everyday watch.

    I'm sure you could just send omega an email with the serial number and they could confirm for you

    Serial numbers above 8525XXXX are typically associated to 2500D. As said above, write to Omega and they will tell you.

    Thank you all for your input. Been out of pocket for a few weeks and just checked this thread. The first four are 8522 so most likely it is a 2500C.
