Thanks to the eBay watch thread, I have been shown a number of great, “entry” vintage pieces, and have fallen in love with many of the more obscure models, pushed on my @dsio’s wonderful articles on various fun models. They have led to dipping my toes into omega with fun and interesting models, a 166.219, a chronostop, my first speedmaster Seville, but this must recent eBay find that Ash posted had me hooked.
It is a Geneve 166.721, a Japan only large 37 mil. I am flabbergasted with the heft, the fit, and the absolute value of this piece.
