I had the pleasure of adding a beautiful 1969 Mark 2 to close out 2021. The patina on the indices is stunning and comes with Extract from the Archives from Omega and a fresh service from Omega as well.

I have owned the latest Racing Dial Mark 2 but found it too cumbersome and the weight just felt off, but this Mark 2 has much better proportions.

This piece is a keeper and will stay in the collection for a very, very long time馃榾

Happy New Year All!

Nice, we need to compare. I started my first thread trying to sort out my Mk2 racing dial and you are the first to come close in movement number to mine that I have come across to date. Mine is a 26xxxxxx. Love that your case hasn't been restored. Personally like it much better that way.

Very nice, but that case looks like its had a bit of polishing in its history.

Yes I believe had a light polish during the Omega service. I am looking at taking to an Omega specialist here in Australia to get the Sunburst finish re-applied.

Have Adam Lewis in Perth do the refinishing, it'll be back to factory specifications.

Lovely, big fan of the Mk2, wear mine often. That's a nice one and once correctly refinished it'll be stunning, dial is perfect.

Many congratulations!

That is a very nice Mark II!
A refinish should see it ready for another 50 years service.
