    Wiggling probably is not a good test since the setting mechanism may hold the stem very well. Maybe eye-balling or some pictures with the crown pulled out one notch could show any gap or not.

    Date or time setting is not a real issue even with the original crown since it is pulled out then. Only when closed in, it's quite slippery and hard to grasp in order to wind the watch. Wearing everyday, it's not a problem.

    Wow this is a gorgeous watch. I personally like silver watches instead of Gold or 2-tone, this is a great example.

    Thanks and I agree. The dealer had a nice gold model for roughly the same money but even he said this is the nicest Constellation he's had in the shop. (And his shop is full of drool worthy watches of all decades and types). It literally glows. I will wear this a lot once he sends me the right sized gator strap.
