Hi. I am new to buying omega but on a mission. I want to buy a solid gold 9 or 18 ct as a keepsake. My grandfather had a gold presentation watch ( not omega and not working) and my father had a gold plate dress omega dress watch so I want to combine the two and get something special. Having looked on internet for several months I still haven't sourced a seller. I prefer to buy in real life and not from photos but it's proving very hard.

I agree with the above! I’ve bought two watches here from members and it’s a night and day superior exercise vs. eBay!

There is also British dealer on here named Fattony who has opened a shop, possibly a virtual one only; you might want to seek him out. He seems to specialize in high end Speedmasters, but if you go out to his online store, you may find something there. He seems like a very decent guy so he might be able to help you source what you want. Since you’re thinking solid gold and not a $500 Seamaster, it could be worth his time. As everyone says above. Check the Sales section on this forum. Great place to start buying correct watches from good sellers.

 

Look to see what auction houses are local and their catalogues . Just don’t bid against me !
