Re purposed Talica.....shame Shimano have moved away from hard anodizing to a propriety " EI surface treatment" its not very scratch resistant, I ended up having a Talica 2k spray painted and then giving it to my younger brother.....

Have a Diawa that looks similar from a year or two ago but still love using my US made Penn 320 lever drag 😉

The old “ foot falcon” of reels... bet ya diawa is a lot smoother...more rigged with better gear alignment... torque and a price that reflects advancements in reel technology 😀

Considering I use a Stella 4000 FE for Barra fishing I do enjoy advancements in technology when it comes to reels, rods I am happy with a diawa black generation swamp donkey
