just ordered myself a new speedmaster and thought i would join the forum to do a bit of reading! quite excited as have wanted one for a few years now.

thank you for the warm welcome. i have ordered a new speedmaster professional with the hesalite crystal. it won't arrive for 5 days but my birthday is later this month so should be here in time for that!! will post pics when it arrives. trying to choose and source some leather straps for it.

just had a thought. the watch i am getting is the new reference speedmaster with hesalite. i am very confident of the bricks and mortar shop i am getting it from (iconic watches) but is there anything i should check? i.e. serial number matches warranty etc?
Congrats, looking forward to the wrist shot! The new ones most certainly do come with a big box.. The extra straps, strap tool and loupe is kind of cool.
