Haven't seen a thread about the new rubber strap w/ deployant, so here it is. Much better than the tang buckle IMO... not saying I don't still like the buckle, but there's something about Omega's deployant that just hits different.

Can you post how it looks unbuckled?

Is this the new standard or is it an upgraded option/you got to ask for one?

You can’t purchase it with the watch at this time, it is an add on, you need to purchase separately. That being said, everything is negotiable.

That’s interesting, one of the things that drew me to it was the No Date, but I understand that function is important to some.

Does anyone know if the regular spring bars work with the rubber strap or are curved ones needed?

No spring bars were shipped with my band, just used the ones from the bracelet.

Anyone know if that band fit the MC300? (The original one) I’m guessing not. Thanks

These look good, but definitely not worth the price difference compared to a buckle.

Not much when it comes to watches at this price point is worth the price. Just a user preference and like, most of my friends and colleagues think this hobby is nuts and the prices we pay for our little mechanical machines is outrageous!

Really happy to see that Omega released a deployant version of the rubber strap!

Can you post reference number for the strap & folding buckle? My AD was a bit clueless - just want to make sure I order the right one.

Anyone know if I can just order the folding buckle separately? The holes look different -- squareish on the tang version, circular on the folding. I have the original / tang version of the strap. Probably not, but thought I would ask.

Part numbers are here:
CVZ015753 - Blue Rubber
94521883 - Deployant clasp

Unfortunately, no you have to order the strap as well - not only because of the size of the holes but the original rubber has the keepers, and with the deployant, the rubber goes under instead of over (not sure how to better phrase that, sorry).

I got it for free when I purchase my watch (had to pay for the buckle only)
