Picked up my SMP a couple of weeks ago from the OB here in Chicago. It’s my introduction to Omega as a brand and my first “real” watch. All I can say is I love it! It really is such a versatile watch.

Am curious, which Alfa has a 5.5k rpm red line? That must be a diesel, do they sell such a thing in the USA?

 

It’s actually the 2.0 turbo sold here in the states. Mine is a 2018 Giulia Ti Sport.

 

Interesting. Will look that up. The low red line had me confused. My BMW diesel has a 5.5k red line, though I am sure yours sounds much nicer up there. Would really love a 3l V6 turbo one of those, they look epic.

Back to the watch. I tried one of those on at a dealer event and I loved it. I would personally have preferred they kept the slim dimensions of the older 1120 movement models but the look is great.
