I received a new, from an authorized dealer, Omega Seamaster from my lovely wife for Christmas (we actually saved and picked it out together).

It is fully wound and loses 30+ seconds per day. I wear it all day and have even been manually winding to make sure it stays wound.

I was going to give it a few weeks since it has probably been sitting for awhile, but 30 seconds just seems too much.

Does it need to be regulated? Is a jeweler that is an authorized dealer allowed to crack the case and do it?

I’m manually winding it until I feel the tension building. I assume that is fully wound and it has a clutch to prevent overwinding.

This is one of the new models? If yes, then take it back to the seller because it's performing out of spec
