I like the "real" moonwatch references that were on the moon most but also like water resistance. The 145.012-67 always had the advantage that service pushers looked like original pushers with therefore a higher chance of obtaining a seal. However, my favorite reference, the 105.012 has the short and wide "mushroom" pushers. With service pushers with thin necks the visual appeal is diminished. With vintage pushers the water resistance is usually a problem.

To my surprise I found that Omega now makes visually appealing pushers for the 105.012, reference 086ST0022. I found them for 35 Euro each. Probably they are even cheaper with an Omega account. While they are still on the way to me from the seller they look great in pictures and are the new official replacement service pushers for the 105.012 from Omega. The previous thin neck pushers are discontinued (086st0089).

Is this common knowledge (and I'm late to the party) or is this new and interesting information for 105.012 owners?

Doesn’t matter. Refreshers are always helpful…

Important Update:
The pushers I bought via E-Bay turned out to be fake!!! When my watchmaker opened the pusher packages one of the pushers didn't even compress and both were obviously not new. Examining the packaging the difference to the real pushers as seen in my previous post is that my fake pushers didn't have any barcode on the packaging but they did state Omega and the reference numbers.
I'm just posting this here as a warning to all that fake 086ST0022 pushers are circulating........

Sorry to hear that. I thought that might be the case when I read they were only 35 euro

Just to add, I still have one last set of NOS vintage 105.002 pushers available.
