Has anyone had any experience with this new model? I am considering purchasing one but would like some feedback on it before i pull the trigger.

 

its amazing,I love the size and it goes great on a leather strap even, but try picking one up fast. Seiko told me they aren't shipping new ones out until july, so whoever got what shipment- that would be it until then.

 

Ok,i appreciate the info. I have an original 6309 and was curious about the size and wearability of the new model compared to the original.

So what is the distribution story on these? First it was Austria only, then Sears had stock in the US?

I would be searching one out if they had done the face more like the original. For some reason this rerelease the monotone printing just does not do it for me and the Prospex X logo is really not needed. Hmm I wonder if I can swap a skx007 face onto it...

 

Worn and Wound did two great posts/videos on this release. I think they're the best in the business when it comes to watch reviews, so when they recommend it highly I take it very seriously.

you will love it...It's a fun watch,affordable & has lug holes for easy shoe changes frequently. The only issue is some models the chapter ring doesn't align w/ bezel but that's Seiko for you, the other problem cropping up is dents or indentations above and below the lume pip the 12:00 position of the elapsed time bezel.I wouldn't stand for the Dent but I can live w/ the misalignment.I got lucky mine is perfect.
